Wilton McCoy is a listed California painter who moved to Palm Springs in 1947.

Born in Kansas in 1902, he moved to Long Beach in 1930 and became active in the local art scene studying with Henry Richter and Sam Hyde Harris. He is known for his mountain and desert paintings, and has exhibited both in Long Beach and in Palm Springs  venues. He died in 1986.
