Wilson "Worth" Ellsworth is a listed California painter and teacher, who was born in New York in 1908, and resettled in San Francisco in 1932.

During the 1950's Wilson Ellsworth taught painting classes at the well-known Maxwell Gallery and Gump's, where his works were sold. While he was primarily known as a portrait painter, he also painted landscapes. He died in San Francisco in 1972.
