Val Bleeker was a regionalist California painter from Sausalito, who was also a writer, singer, musician, and social activist.

Her paintings were shown in many local art exhibitions in the town of Sausalito, and won numerous awards. She was known to have completed one large mural for a local restaurant, and wrote book reviews for the Sausalito News.
