Stella C. Coler is a listed Indiana painter and educator, born in 1892 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  She studied at the Art Students League in NYC and the John Herron Art Institute in Indianapolis.

 She was a member of the Indiana Art Club and the Sarasota Art Association, and taught art classes at the Indianapolis Art League. She died in 1992 in Sarasota, Florida, and was buried with her family members in Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana.
