Born in 1939, Simon Posthuma is a Dutch designer, musician, and listed artist who collaborated with The Beatles and The Hollies.

After partnering with Marijke Koger, Simon Posthuma traveled around Europe in 1964 and ended their journey in London, England in 1966, where they met the Beatles and were asked to design the clothes and entourage for the song All You Need Is Love, which was broadcasted live in 1967.

Posthuma formed a collective called "The Fool" which worked on album design projects. In 1978 Posthuma left eh collective and returned to the Netherlands and pursued his career as a painter. In 2008, he published his memoirs under the titled A Fool Such As I -  the Fate of Simon Posthuma.
