 Born in 1926, Ruben De La Colina's works are well known in Argentina, and are in the permanent collections of the Castagnino Museum of Rosario and the Museo das Peregrinacions in PSain.

He was the director of the Castagnino Museum, and the author of many art monologues and books. Besides his paintings, he also worked in the field of ceramics, wood carving, and illustration. His works are in many corporate, private, and public collections. He died in 2007.
