Royden Martin is a listed California painter, born in 1913 in Carmel Valley, California.

He trained at the California School of Fine Arts and with George Seideneck. He was known for his landscapes of the Monterey area done in oils, watercolors, and pastels, as well as portraits. He exhibited at the California State Fair in 1940 where he won first prize, as well as the Monterey County Fair where he also won top honors.

He died at the Stanford University Hospital in 1979.
