Roger Mantegani is a well-listed Argentinean painter known for his large scale works depicting figures in shadowy, but well lit sumptuous interiors.

Born in 1957 in Cordoba City, Argentina, he studied at the provincial art school with Figueroa Alcorta, and later with Lucio Loubet. He began individual exhibitions in 1988 at the Palatina Gallery in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and in 2000 at Praxis in Mexico City, Mexico.

He has won numerous awards for his works and his paintings have sold at auction for as much as $15,000.00.
