Rex Brandt is one of the top tier listed California painters, known for his colorful Cubist style watercolors that helped define the "California Style" during the 1930's.

Born in 1914 in San Diego, California, Brandt was a child prodigy, attending the Chouinard Art Institute at age 13. His work has been exhibited internationally and is in many museums, corporate and private collections,. He died in 2000.
