Born in 1921, Paul Darrow is a well-listed California painter and educator who studied at the Colorado Springs Fine Art Center and the Claremont Graduate School and University Center.

He studied with American masters Milford Zornes, Millard Sheets, Phil Dike, and Phil Paradise, N.A.. His works have been exhibited widely and are in museum collections. He was a professor at Scripps College and Claremont Graduate School in California. He is a longtime resident of Laguna Beach, California.
