Max Ulrich Schoop is a listed sculptor, painter, and printmaker.
Born in Germany in 1903, he was a Swiss citizen who studied in Germany,
Switzerland, and France. He had his own studio in Paris, France between 1928 to
1940, and exhibited at the Salon d'Automne, the Salon des Tulleries, and the
International Hunting Exhibition in Budapest.
His paintings are in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art in
New York City, as well as museums in Switzerland and other European countries.
He died in 1990.
