Lenard Kester is a listed California artist known for his paintings, watercolors, and illustrations of landscapes, marines, city views and still life.

Born in 1917 in New York City, New York, he studied at the Cooper Union School of Design. In the late 1930's he moved to Los Angeles, California and worked with Walt Disney. Known for being one of the contributors to the "California Style" movement, his works have been shown in many galleries and museums. He died in 1997.
