John Lentine is a listed American painter who was born in Rochester, New York on October 19th, 1930. He is listed in the books Who Was Who In American Art and Artists In California.

He studied at the Pratt Institute Of Art and exhibited in Ogunquit, Maine, the Ravinia Art Festival, the New York State Fair, and in San Francisco and Los Angeles, California. His work is in the Rochester Memorial Art Gallery and the Montclair, New Jersey Museum. He was commissioned to produce eleven paintings for United California Bank.

He died in Los Angeles, California in 1968.
