Born in 1902, Hermann Poll is a listed German painter and art teacher,
born in Bielefeld, Germany.
HE attended the Academy of Art (Kunstakademie) in
Düsseldorf, Germany, and the Academy of Art in Berlin, where he studied with
the artists Hassler and Rossner.
In 1926 he moved to Berlin and became an art teacher at
the Canisius-Kolleg. He was known for the colorful palette of his paintings
similar to that of the Fauvists. He died in 1990.
