Henry Tickner is a listed British painter and house decorator born in Hawkhurst, Kent, England in 1872.

At the age of sixteen he worked on the decoration of Saint Mary in the Castle with H. Weston. Later in his career he specialized in painting portraits, still life and landscapes. One of his paintings is in the collection of the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery in Stoke-On-Trent, United Kingdom. He died in 1933
