Helmut Gransow is a well-listed Canadian painter, printmaker, illustrator, and educator.

Born in Germany in 1921, he relocated to Canada in 1949 and has been a professional artist since 1950. He is a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts & Sciences, and the Society of Graphic Artists. His paintings have sold at auction for as much as $3,268.00. He died in 2000.
