Harry Wickey is a very well-listed painter, illustrator, lithographer, sculptor, and teacher born in 1892 in Stryker, Ohio, and educated at the Art Student's League in New York.

He was an elected member of the American National Academy, and exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, the Guggenheim Museum, the Whitney Museum, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, New York. His illustrations were published in The Saturday Evening Post. He died in 1968.
