Georges Dayez is a well-listed School of Paris painter born in Paris, France in 1907 who studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts.

He first exhibited at the Salon D'Automne in 1928 and thereafter exhibited at all the French salons. He was awarded a price at the Venice Biennale in 1947, and his works are in the collections of the Musee d'Art Moderne in Paris as well as other French and foreign museums. He died in 1991.
