Fumio Fujita is a Contemporary and prolific modernist Japanese woodblock artist.

Born in Aichi, Japan in 1933, he graduated from the oil painting division of the Musashino College of Fine Arts. In 1963 he started making moku-hanga (woodblock prints). He has has solo exhibits in Tokyo, Japan in 1998, 1999 and 2000, and has also exhibited at the CWAJ (College Women's Association of Japan) at the most important annual exhibition of contemporary prints.
