 Francis Forcer Brown is a well-listed New Jersey and Indiana painter who is known for his landscapes and still life.

Born in 1891 in Glassboro, New Jersey, Francis Forcer Brown studied with William Forsyth and J. Otis Adams at eh John Herron School. He also attended Ball State and Ohio State universities. He is a member of the Hoosier Salon and exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, the Cleveland Museum of Art, and the Richmond Art Association. He served as the Director for the art gallery at the Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. He died in 1971.
