Emil Jean Kosa, Junior is a well-listed California painter, printmaker,
and graphic designer that was born of Czech and American family. He is known
for his landscapes, still life, and nude portraiture.
Born in Paris, France in 1903, he studies at the Academie Julian,
Chouinard Art School, the Ecole des Beaux Arts, and the Otis Institute. He
exhibited widely, including showings at all the important national museums
of the time. His paintings have sold for as much as $50,000.00.
He died in 1968.
