Born in 1946, David Henry is a listed contemporary painter and sculptor, who studied architecture at Georgia Tech under the direction of P.F. Hefferman, John Hardy, and Julian Hoke Harris.

His studies focused on classical design, and he won scholarships to study in France and Italy. His first exhibit was at the 24th Annual Southwest exhibit at the High Museum of Art. After that, he has had numerous one man shows, including one curated by the noted American art critic Clement Greenberg.
