Born in 1904, Clyde F. Seavey is a listed San Francisco, California based painter, illustrator, and designer who studied at UC Berkeley, and worked primarily at Patterson & Sullivan, a firm that worked with many advertising agencies prominent at the time.

His personal works depict domestic life and portraits of family ad friends. He exhibited at Gilbert Galleries in San Francisco in the 1960's where he often exhibited night scenes. He was a member of the Artists Club, the Artists & Art Directors Club and Advertising Club in San Francisco. He died in 1991.
