Carl Sammons is a well-listed California painter, known for his scene painting throughout the state, including the Palm Springs area.

He was born in Nebraska in 1883, and moved to California in 1913. While studying at the California School Of Fine Arts, he traveled throughout the state painting. His work was exhibited widely, and has sold for as much as $11,500.00 at auction. He died in 1968.
