Arlindo Mesquita is a listed Brazilian painter, draftsman, sculptor, and teacher born in Arco Verde, Brazil in 1924.

Primarily a self-taught artist, Arlindo Mesquita was known for his colorful landscapes and genre scenes, many featuring workers. By 1964 he was a professor of painting in the House of the Sailor in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

He lived for six months in New York City, NEw York and exhibited his works in New York City and Los Angeles, California. In Brazil he exhibited widely, winning awards for his work. Arlindo Mesquita died in Rio De Janeiro in 1987.
