Born in 1933 in New York City, New York, Anthony Padovano is a
well-listed sculptor and lecturer who is known for his sculptures in bronze,
marble, steel and mixed media.
He was trained at the Carnegie Institute, Pratt
Institute, and Columbia University. His work has been shown in many public
exhibitions including the New York World's Fair, The American Academy in
Rome, Italy, the Storm King in New York, The World Trade Center, MoMA, and
at several galleries including the James Graham Gallery in New York City.
He was the recipient of a Guggenheim Foundation
fellowship and a Ford Foundation Purchase Award.
