A well-listed painter, illustrator, and printmaker, Andre Minaux was born in Paris, France in 1923, and educated at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs.

He participated in the Salon d'Automne, Salon de Mai, and the Salon des Independants. He was awarded the Prix de la Critique in 1949 and his works are included in the Musee d'Art Moderne in Paris and in several French provincial and foreign Museums. He is listed among the artists in the book School Of Paris. He died in 1986.
