This rare 1940's painting of the iconic and much beloved Flatiron Building, formerly known as the Fuller Building, in the Borough of Manhattan, New York City, that was completed in 1902.

Although it was never the tallest building in the city, it was considered a ground-breaking skyscraper at the time of its construction. The neighborhood around the building is known ass the Flatiron District, and it was designated a landmark by the City of New York in 1966.
